One of the most important points when renting an apartment is to make sure that the landlord is aware of when, and at what time you will arrive; this way he can hand you the keys personally. Similarly, the total sum, minus the deposit, should be paid directly to your landlord in cash.
1) Hotel Bookings
1.1) Costasur.com helps you book many hotels in Tarifa. Nevertheless, the contract is directly between you and the hotel.
1.2) Costasur.com publishes the exact hotel prices and DOES NOT ADD any comission to the official hotel price.
1.3) The payment is directly executed with the hotel, under their conditions. To confirm a reservation with the hotel, they need your credit card details and your authorization, so that they can proceed to charge the card with the price of the first night as a deposit.
1.4) If you are going to arrive at a time that differs from the hotel´s normal working hours, please inform the hotel beforehand.
2) Apartment Bookings
2.1) TarifaInfo.com helps you to book many apartments in Tarifa. Nevertheless, the contract is directly between you and the apartment owner.
2.2) For professional landlords´ apartments, the above-mentioned hotel rules also apply. For private apartments please read on.
2.3) In order to confirm the reservation of a privately owned apartment, you are required to pay a deposit of the total price of the accomodation, according to what is indicated on each accomodation page. This must be done by means of bank transfer and directed to the account number that will be provided in each request, depending on the apartment chosen.
2.4) The remaining rental payment must be paid upon the handing over of the keys. You must pay in cash and in the local currency. Credit cards and traveller´s checks are not accepted.
2.5) Be aware, that for private apartment rental it is not possible to issue an invoice. Please inform us, if you need an invoice, in order to find you an accommodation which is able to supply you a written bill.
2.6) A deposit of around 100-200 Euros is usually requested as a guarantee for the keys and/or any damage. This will be returned without fail when you leave the apartment, providing no damage has been done to the property.
2.7) You will receive the contact information to arrange the key handover for the apartment as soon as the booking is confirmed and the deposit has been paid.
2.8) MAKE SURE THAT YOU CONTACT YOUR LANDLORD BEFORE ARRIVING, in order to arrange a meeting time with him (private apartments are not hotels that offer a 24 hour service). There is usually a 20 Euro charge for the handover of the keys if after normal working hours (09:00 - 21:00)
2.9) The apartment checkout time will be established by the landlord, during the key handover.
Entrance: From 16:00 hours
Departure: Before 11:00
3.0) The accomodations are constantly revised by Costasur in agreement with the owners. Costasur however, can not be held responsible for any occuring errors. Kindly inform us, if there where any problems while making your reservation in order to correct the error. |
