You can also reach Tarifa by bus. The connections between the main airports and the nearby cities is quite good. It may be a bit of an adventure to find the correct bus stop because there are numerous different companies. Your best bet is to go to a local Travel Agency where they will direct you as to where to go, and your departure time.

There are buses from Málaga that reach Algeciras in around 2-4 hours (depending on the bus), where you then have to change to the bus that takes you straight to Tarifa.

From Málaga Airport, you have to make your way to the central bus station. The bus stop in the airport is just in fromt of Terminal A. This is the small station for intercontinental flights (300 metres to the right, coming form the main station).

The airport bus leaves every 30 minutes from 7am to 11pm. A taxi to Málaga costs around ¤10 and a taxi straight to Tarifa costs around ¤120 (180 km).
